Chesapeake Sports Club
The Chesapeake Sports Club's monthly meeting was held at the Chesapeake Conference Center. Four local athletes were recognized for their outstanding accomplishments in their sport. Charles "Suggie" Taylor was named as the next Legend of Honor, along with NFL great Darren Perry- originally of Deep Creek High School. Darren graciously thanked Pro Football Hall of Fame member Kenny Easley for having been an inspiration to him when growing up. Darren encouraged those present to "Never forget where you are from, where you are, and where you are going."
